Bay East Election Results

Bay East is proud to announce the election results for its Officers and Board of Directors. Pat Huffman has been elected as the 2009 President. Pam Winterbauer will serve as the 2009 President-Elect and Otto Catrina as 2009 Treasurer.

Directors elected were: District 1 Directors Craig Ragg and Lisa Sterling; District 2 Directors Mary Florio, Dorothy Jackson and Shawna Jorat; District 3 Directors Jeri Jorgenson and Kim Ott; and Directors-at-Large Mike Fracisco and Michael Godfrey.

Bay East Annual Membership Dues/MLS Renewals

The Bay East REALTOR® Membership/MLS Renewals are now due. Payments not received by Monday, September 1 will incur a $100 Reinstatement fee. Your MLS subscription may be suspended October 1 if your payment is not received in our office by September 30.

If you have not made any payment, you may still participate in the installment plan by paying both the first and second installments plus the Reinstatement fee. The third installment payment will be processed on November 1.

To make your payment online or print an invoice, go to www.bayeast.org and click the "Pay Dues Online" button. If you have any questions or need assistance, contact the Bay East Accounting Department at billingdept@bayeast.org or (925) 730-1070.

Bay East REALTOR® Magazine Goes Online

In an effort to become more environmentally-friendly, more cost-efficient and more timely, Bay East is switching from a printed version of the Bay East REALTOR® Magazine to an online version. Beginning this October, our publication can be found exclusively on the Bay East website. The September 2008 issue will be the last printed version of this publication. Financial Report Available

The Bay East Association of REALTORS® 2007 Audited Financial Report is now available for review by Bay East members in good standing. To receive your copy of the report, please contact Francoise Jordan at 925 730-3271 or francoisej@bayeast.org. A processing charge of $5 will apply.

The Dictionary Project

For the fourth year, Bay East is collaborating with "The Dictionary Project" to provide dictionaries to third grade students in our local schools. Bay Area Multicultural Real Estate Summit

The second Bay Area Multicultural Real Estate Summit (BAMCRES 2008) is being held on Friday, September 26 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (32802 Alvarado Niles Road, Union City) from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Activities include informational sessions, a real estate product and services expo, a multicultural top producer panel and a networking reception.
