The Dictionary (and atlas) Project

The Dictionary Project is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the reading ability and comprehension of all children. Bay East has sponsored a local version of the project by providing dictionaries and atlases to our neighboring schools.

Last year 5,366 dictionaries and 1,179 atlases were given to children in the Dublin, Fremont, Newark, Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol, and Union City school districts. Sponsors are recognized on the Bay East website and their name will be labeled on the inside cover of the donated books.

Please join us in this effort of promoting literacy within our communities. Remember, good schools mean desirable communities, which is always great for business.
