Members Helping Members Criteria

Purpose

To provide assistance to Bay East members or their immediate families that may find themselves the victims of catastrophic events.

(A catastrophic event is defined as extremely harmful, bringing physical and financial ruin. A momentous tragic event ranging from extreme misfortune to utter ruin.)

Eligibility

  • Recipient can be a REALTOR® or Affiliate member.
  • Recipient can be the spouse, child(ren), or those in the custodial care of a REALTOR® or Affiliate member (current or deceased) in good standing of the Bay East Association of REALTOR®.
  • Qualifications

  • A Bay East member in good standing must sponsor recipient.
  • Recipient must have been a member in good standing within the last twelve months from the date of application.
  • Requirements

  • Sponsor must provide specific need for assistance
  • Sponsor must indicate how Bay East can facilitate that need
  • Sponsor and Recipient must submit names of other organizations providing assistance
  • Sponsor agrees to be contacted by a Foundation Trustee for additional information as needed.
