The Bayeast Association of Realtors is providing a free frame-able IDX solution for the membership. This solution can be implemented by anybody who wishes to have search capabilities on his or her own website. Below are some answers to questions you might have about the product
Q: How do I get this for my website?
A: The way to receive the IDX solution is to fill out the Participant/Subscriber form, which can be located at https://www.bayeast.org/mls/idx/documents. After the form is filled out, you can fax back the form to (925) 369-7151 and a link will be given to you to add to your website.
Q: Do I have to change what I currently have now?
A: Absolutely not. This solution is for people who are looking to change their current solution or implement a new one. If you are happy with what you currently have, you can continue with that solution.
Q: Is this really a “free solution”?
A: The IDX search capability is free but you will have to get your own website from a web-hosting company and pay whatever fees that they require to have a website. With the IDX EZ solution you will not have to pay a separate fee for a consultant to setup IDX search capabilities on your website.
Q: What does this IDX solution do?
A: The IDX EZ search capability is a very basic IDX search. There are no maps or any other type of special features included in this. You can search by Cities, Zip Codes, MLS number, Price, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Square Footage, and Street Address
Q: Can anybody get this?
A: You have to be an active Bayeast MLS member in order to receive the IDX EZ search capability.
Q: What does this IDX look like?
A: Below is an example of what the IDX EZ solution looks like. Also you can have your company logo as well as your agent image at the top of the page. Bayeast will need to receive these pictures in order to upload these photos. The photos must be in jpg format and must be around 100 kb in size.
